  • Carla holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix. She received her Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law in May, 2012. She is admitted to practice law in the state of Arkansas, the state of New York, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, and before the Supreme Court of the United States. Carla is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, Pulaski County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Henry Woods Inn of Court.

Carla discovered a passion for the practice of law in her early 20s when she took a job as a legal assistant for a small-town attorney. After 20 years of balancing work, family, and education, she graduated law school at age 42. She first became licensed in Arkansas and at the next offering of the Bar Exam became licensed in New York.  Carla grew up in the tiny community of Plumerville in Conway County, Arkansas. She describes herself as a city girl with country roots, and an adrenaline junkie who loves rollercoasters, fast cars, and riding her bike too fast downhill. She is a marathoner, a triathlete, and enjoys preparing elegant meals with her partner. She loves to travel: to the beach with her children, re-energize her batteries in New York City, and explore exciting travel destinations centered around eclectic culinary experiences.
